Civic Studio is a proposition to live generously, in the many ways we can support one another through everyday practices of care and simple acts of kindness—a haircut, a shared breath, a moment of calm.

Mutual Aid meets Public Philosophy through participation in the Civic community. A social art practice of conversation, care, connection, and hair services, Civic engages individuals to collectively imagine a future in which care and generosity are practiced to build a just & regenerative world. Emerging from the principle that kind and generous humans can collectively create caring and stable communities, Civic seeks to collaboratively build support for those unsupported by other social systems—tending to ourselves and to one another.
